More Help for Moms with Breast Cancer.
Volunteer Nanny to the Rescue …
While watching the news last night, it was a pleasant surprise to see that a new Angel organization has come up with a wonderful idea to help women with young children who have breast cancer … or are in the early stages of treatment for breast cancer.
There still seems to be a lot of restrictions on utilizing their services … but that’s another rant for another day.
It’s called Nanny Angel Network and their web site is at http://www.nannyangelnetwork.com/

Good afternoon and Happy New Year!
I am the program coordinator of this new, free service for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, currently in treatment or in the early stages of recovery.
We provide women in the greater Toronto area, Vancouver, Calgary and Ottawa with relief child care by professional nannies who volunteer their time to be an Angel. They bring an exciting, fun and safe experience to the children while mom (and/or dad)takes some much needed time to herself.
The families have children that are aged 12 and under and do not currently employ a nanny.
We will provide up to 5 hours of care per visit.
If you could use this service or know someone who can please visit our website: http://www.nannyangelnetwork.com or call us 877-731-8866.

Thanks very much for taking the time to write, Michelle!
Happy New Year and I’m sure your service will be a lifesaver
for someone.
I don’t have any children, but living alone, I definitely feel
there is a hole in the care system.
